I can still vividly remember the green and black checkered floor that was dull and scuffed from years of wear and tear but smooth as a car top body because of all the busy feet that passed over it back and forth on a daily basis. The large snap hook on the end of the 5/8” triple braided rope clanked on the floor as I laid it down in a large clock wise circular pattern. This same weekly procedure & ritual of re-packing the life saving rope is necessary since if it sits too long in the special white carrying case made of strong nylon material for easy carrying, it could create kinks, hockles, develop destructive rust spots or other things that could compromise it’s integrity if ever it was used at an operation.
